This is an integral role within the hotel operation and impactful to the guest experience.  Responsibilities Daily tasks include stripping and making beds, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning all surfaces, replenishing terry and guest amenities as well as attending to laundry needs. Thoroughly clean guestrooms in both check-out and stayover environments. Ensure all public spaces are consistently clean and in guest-ready condition. Follow all established department cleaning standards and safety procedures. Properly communicate maintenance repair needs and safety hazards to supervising team members. Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Replenish in-room minibar, record guest purchases and update inventory. Perform other duties as assigned and requested to meet the needs of the business.

Ideal Candidate: Knowledge of proper cleaning practices and procedures. Strong attention to detail Inclined to complete tasks both intentionally and in satisfactory manner. Genuine desire to be helpful: able to jump in and assist other departments when necessary. Works well autonomously and is self-driven. Enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Requirements & Experience: Clear understanding of the English language (verbal and written) Ability to professionally clean and prepare up to 11 rooms per day according to hotel cleanliness standards. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand up to 8 hours per shift. Effective time management skills in order to ensure completion of all assigned tasks. Communication skills and ability to listen effectively. Attention to detail to detect room cleanliness and discrepancies.
