**I. JOB DESCRIPTION**
Department: Distribution
Location: NC, NV, TX
Reports to: Supervisor, Distribution
**II. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE**
Point of contact for leading the work routine of warehouse personnel as directed by the Supervisor, Distribution in receipt, stocking, inventory, order fulfillment and shipment of finished goods.
**III. RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERS**
As specifically directed by the Supervisor, Distribution on a task by task basis.
**IV. BUSINESS COMMUNICATION**
Maintains, at all times, the interoffice communications telephone system linked directly to the Supervisor, Distribution. Must be experienced and skilled in computer systems to include e-mail, word processors, order processing programs and shipping programs.
**V. SUPERVISION REQUIRED**
Daily
- **EDUCATION REQUIRED**
High School Graduate with two years work experience in a warehouse environment.
* **TRAINING AND SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**
Be a certified forklift operator. Have interpersonal skills in dealing with and communicating with vendors, customers, shippers, co-workers and management.
**VIII. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
Four years work experience in a warehouse environment.
**IX. TRAVEL REQUIRED**
None
- **SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Receive incoming materials and inventory to include receipt against open purchase order, unloading and scanning into order management program, audit inbound freight for shortages or damages, move stock to warehouse area and store in assigned bins, unpack from shrink wrap and deliver receipt documents to Supervisor, Distribution or as directed.
* Conduct regular product warehouse inventories.
* Participate in area maintenance to include cleaning floors, work tables and stations, distribution office, repack areas, receiving areas and staging areas.
* Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment to include ensuring fork lifts are connected to electrical recharges on a daily basis.
- **PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel or crouch. Bi-manual dexterity required. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
* **WORK ENVIRONMENT**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, cold and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
