Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve our manufacturing processes and products. You will be tasked with investigating and solving problems related to tooling, equipment, and processes. You will analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements and workflow, and design layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Your role includes developing, recommending, and implementing changes that will result in the improvement of manufacturing processes and product quality. You will assist in the development of capital and expense budgets, evaluate new products and make recommendations relative to manufacturing feasibility. You will also train department personnel in safety, setup, operations and troubleshooting of existing and new equipment. All employees are expected to abide by the plant's safety policy, comply with legal and other requirements and operational controls established, work toward achieving established objectives and targets, and conform to procedures consistent with the ISO standard.

This is a 6 month Contract-to-Hire position.
Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Athens, Alabama.
Work Schedule

This role reports on-site M-F. Some over-time and weekend coverage is needed.
