Forklift Operator - Sawmill, Monticello, Arkansas

Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Forklift Operator - Sawmill in Monticello, Arkansas. Starting rate for this position is $21.33 per hour with the potential to grow based on skill level and experience.

What You'll Do
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and productive manner.
  • Maintain lumber count from green stacker.
  • Prepare stacker for next shift.
  • Remove miss sorts from packs.
  • Mark all lumber with correct dimensions.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Keep constant rotation of lumber; first in first out.
  • Complete daily forklift inspections.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations.
What You Offer
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Forklift Certified or the ability to become certified within 30 days.
  • Knowledge of lumber by dimensions and lengths is an asset.
  • Commitment to maintain a safe work environment without compromise.
  • Recognize problems and have them corrected immediately.
  • Understand the importance of teamwork and have a positive impact on the team.
  • Open-minded and positive in dealing with change and new ways of doing things.
  • Able to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
