Shift

Monday - Friday - 6am-2:30pm

Roles and Responsibilities:

Performs the most complex machining on lathes and mill-turn machines in support of production operations or job shop machining without technical supervision. Lays out work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications. Sets up, operates all available machine tools, and performs progressive machining operations on work involving very close tolerances or unusual requirements. Determines operation sequences. Uses skillfully all machinists' hand tools and measuring instruments. Familiar with working properties of all materials. Programs CNC machine tools while making parts. Fits and assembles where necessary.

Position Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with 3 axis Lathes and mills
  • Must be able to set up and program machines
  • Knowledge of and experience with using G codes
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerances
  • Experience with hand/power tools and measuring instruments
  • Experience with ERP/MRP system
  • Mastercam knowledge a plus
  • Work well in a team environment
