This is ideally a temp-to-hire, full-time role out of the Firms Detroit, Michigan offices and will primarily support the Firms busy and demanding construction law group (However, a direct hire role will be considered.)

The successful Litigation Attorney will have:

  • A background in commercial and construction law and approximately 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Active Michigan bar license, in good standing;
  • E-discovery experience (using Relativity);
  • Trial experience;
  • Strong writing and research skills;
  • Community and social affiliations consistent with the Firms civil and non-profit culture.
  • Strong work ethic and academic performance within the top 30% of class.
  • All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
  • Infrequent lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds.
  • Resumes should reflect eDiscovery work and any construction experience.

Temp-to-Hire Pay rate: $65-85/hour, commensurate with experience.

(If converted to direct hire employee, the Firm offers annual bonus based on performance, salary range of $140-180k; comprehensive benefits package.)
