Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of Network Engineering, Software Engineering, or related experience Required knowledge or experience with: • Telco: WAN connectivity, LAN connectivity, Fixed Wireless, Colocation services, MMH, SMH, POPs, POTS,4G LTE, Dark fiber, T1, MLPP, DS3, OC, or FE; • OSS/BSS: Service Now, Jira, or TEM systems; • Network: SD-WAN, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, VPN, Firewalls, IPSec, Router, Switch, CPE, CO, or Load Balancer; • Product: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Silver Peak/Velo Cloud, or Arista; • Automation: Ansible, Python, or domain specific automation platforms Knowledge, Skills, Abilities; • Troubleshooting related to firewall and Load balancer; and • Developing, planning, directing and controlling strategic short- and long-term operational objectives.
