Description

Position Purpose:

As a Technical Lead, you will report directly to the Database Systems Manager and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and security of the data within our core CRM. You will be the lead on all technical projects and reports. As a Lead, you will provide guidance to the data analysts and developers on the team under the supervision of the Database Systems Manager.

Essential Duties:
  • Supervise the donor system developers and analysts by organizing work, ensuring successful and timely completion of work, and obtaining an evaluation of the work done.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new reports and processes by communicating and coordinating with the requestors and programming staff.
  • Develop, document, and update processes, procedures, and tasks related to the donor management system.
  • Document requirements and deliverables related to new requests.
  • Manage communications related to server errors and spikes effectively, collaborating closely with the Donor System team to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop and enforce best practices across projects, fostering consistency, scalability, and maintainability of systems.
  • Oversee the integration processes, ensuring seamless connectivity between systems and applications, and troubleshooting any integration-related issues that may arise.
  • Submit and diligently follow up on Donor System tickets, prioritizing and addressing issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create new security roles and SAWs (Services, Applications, or Workflows) as needed, ensuring proper access controls and security measures are in place.
  • Provide support for production issues and questions, particularly related to packing slips, and address distribution center issues and questions, including those related to donor systems and the payment processor.
  • Assist in project management activities, including planning, resource allocation, and tracking progress to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Work directly with the Lead Donor System Administrator and Database Systems Coordinator to coordinate projects, tasks, and prioritization of work.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, Python, or C++, and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) preferred.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and project management methodologies preferred.
  • Must be able to effectively operate Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite
Requirements:
  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field desired.
  • Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
  • Must have experience supervising two or more individuals as a team lead or direct supervisor.
  • Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
  • Experience using CRM systems desired.
  • Experience with server management, integrations, and support ticket systems is highly desired.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
