**The Position** Arkatechture is seeking candidates for a QA Analyst position to support our Arkalytics platform.
As a QA Analyst, you will contribute to the design and implementation of a platform wide test strategy and plan along with other members of the Arkalytics product delivery team. Areas of focus will include business/technical requirements traceability, database SQL validation, BI report performance, integration and user acceptance testing. Must have the ability to interpret and use artifacts like business requirement documents, system requirements documents, mapping documents, requirement traceability matrix, workflows, etc. Should be able to work efficiently with the business and the technology teams collaborating with the project/program managers.

** Key Responsibilities**
* Design and execution of a comprehensive platform wide test strategy including test plan details for Arkalytics features and implementations
* Create and execute detailed test scripts
* Identify whether product/features are functional, reliable and meet expectations
* Establish testing methodologies and best practices
* Adhere to procedures and guidelines to ensure production readiness of supported products
* Identify and remedy defects following the Testing life cycle
* Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved
* Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
* Implement, monitor & organize test scripts and results to assess functionality, performance and quality of the Arkalytics platform
* Validation of source to target mappings and build requirements traceability matrices
* Testing SQL code for business conformance layers and validity
* Testing Tableau Dashboards for quality assurance and data reconciliation
* Confirmation/validation of reference data hierarchies for completeness and consistency
* Confirmation/validation of data loads and load patterns
* Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
* Documentation of processes and workflows
* Additional responsibilities as assigned
** Skills Knowledge and Expertise**
***Minimum Qualifications***
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
* Intermediate SQL skills
* Intermediate Tableau skills
* Enthusiastic learner and driven with a positive attitude
* Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem solving skills
* Software test suite and test case automation experience
* Experience working on any one database such as Snowflake, SQLServer, Oracle, Aurora, PostgreSQL, Redshift, MySQL etc
* Experience in quality inspection, auditing, reconciliation and testing
* A strong understanding of Agile software development and testing life cycle and methodology is a must
* Experience working on data management projects for data lakes/data warehousing
***Preferred Experience***
* Experience with Jira/Confluence or a similar
* Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS
* Industry exposure in banking/financial services
* Familiarity with source control software such as Bitbucket
* Banking experience
