We are looking for a phlebotomist to join our medical team full time in Portland, ME. The ideal candidate would have 1 year experience in Phlebotomy. We are seeking someone who can multi-task, stay organized and proactive in a fast-paced environment while performing blood draws as prescribed by the healthcare providers. We need an experienced individual to work 3-5 days per week.
About us:
We are a busy, highly organized multidisciplinary physical medical office in Portland, ME. We specialize in the use of advanced regenerative medicine to treat arthritis, sports related injuries, and chronic pain. We are looking for a friendly and efficient individual to perform blood draws, prepare injections and turning rooms over for the provider.
Essential Duties:
- Manage the lab
- Assist the other healthcare professionals
- Phlebotomy (perform blood draws)
- Manage inventory
- Manage patient flow
- Maintain hygienic/sterile techniques
- Ensure delivery of timeliness, cleanliness, and professionalism to each patient
- Demonstrates a commitment to goals, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct, dress, verbal, and demeanor always
- Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interacts effectively with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff
- Phlebotomy experience
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent bed side manor required
- Must be a team player
- 3-5 days per week
- $224/day plus 15% bonus
