Why this role? We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Revenue Accountant with a background in Big 4 audit, startup environments, and proficiency in the Order to Cash (O2C) process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong teamwork skills. This is an individual contributor role with the prospect of growing into a people leader. As a Senior Revenue Accountant/Manager, you will Oversee and manage the end-to-end Order to Cash (O2C) process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements focused but not limited to revenue. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, and operations, to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition. Analyze and interpret complex contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606. Lead the implementation and optimization of revenue accounting processes and systems. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and key KPI analysis. Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors and other parties to provide necessary documentation and explanations. Develop and maintain revenue accounting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to internal controls and best practices. Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, including system upgrades and process improvements. You may be a good fit if you have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required. Minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience, including Big 4 audit experience and working in a startup environment. Extensive experience with the Order to Cash (O2C) process. In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and other revenue recognition standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
