About the Role: This individual will oversee KUB’s Records Management Team, which includes responsibility for an on-site physical records center, coordination with IT staff to manage electronic records, and interaction with individuals at all levels of the organization regarding proper management of records. This position is responsible for management of the KUB Records Retention schedule, in addition to providing training at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities will also include aspects of implementation strategy, project management, and change management, in addition to coordinating work and appraising the performance of a team supporting various functions of the Information Services Department. Physical Requirements: Primarily Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, primarily records boxes. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking, standing for brief periods of time, and occasional bending and stooping. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and / or exceed those demands described above. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Records Management, Library Science or Archives, Information Systems, or related field General knowledge of records and information management policies, principles, issues, and requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and present topics/training to the organization Ability to handle confidential information with discretion An understanding of technology, such as the Microsoft 365 platform, and related electronic records management complexities Preferred Requirements: Completion of Certified Records Manager (CRM) certification Five (5) years of experience developing, implementing, and managing a corporate records and information management program Knowledge of federal and state record keeping requirements for municipal utilities Experience with defining and/or implementing a corporate-wide electronic records management system, including managing data within enterprise applications and strong knowledge of the M365 suite, including MS Purview, OneDrive, Teams, and Sharepoint Experience coaching, developing, and mentoring other employees About the Selection Process: Phase 1 – Apply online at www.kub.org Phase 2 – Experience, training, and education evaluation Phase 3 – Interview with department representatives Phase 4 – Written, performance, and behavioral exercises Phase 5 – Background Investigation Phase 6 – Physical assessment and/or drug screen* *KUB is part of the Tennessee Drug Free Workplace Program If special accommodations are needed at any phase of the selection process, please notify Human Resources in advance.
