Description

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Financial Manager requiring a Public Trust clearance in the Washington, D.C., metro area. Hybrid work is available. You will play a multifaceted role and be the main Point of Contact (POC) to manage cloud financial operations, including cost monitoring, analysis, and control. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management and a strong understanding of cloud financial operations. The right candidate will work well with a team, exhibit excellent customer service skills, be self-motivated, and seek ways to improve the environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to manage cloud financial operations, including cost monitoring, analysis, and control, as well as budgeting and forecasting, cost allocation and tagging, optimization, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial design factors
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other teams to support financial operations
  • Provide financial reports and analysis to senior management
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members
Basic Qualifications (required):
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial management
  • Strong understanding of cloud financial operations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred:
  • ITIL 4
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Certified FinOps Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals)
