Some cross operational activity is\u00a0routinely expected.Keeps current with medication information, health care concepts and all regulations\u00a0relative to the practice of long term care, institutional and retail pharmacy.Interprets and clarifies new and refill order requests to ensure appropriateness and\u00a0maintain patient safety.Prepares or causes to be prepared safe, neat, accurate, complete medication orders.Provides and is responsible for final check on all prepared medication to ensure accuracy\u00a0and completeness.Assures that all medication orders and supplies are delivered promptly and completely to\u00a0correct patients.Provides support/suggestions when appropriate to provide safe and effective medication\u00a0therapy.Prepares and completes all appropriate documentation including incident reports, controlled substances sheets, etc.JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PHARMACIST:Bachelor's and/or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university\u00a0Experience with Pharmacy Data Entry SystemsPharmacy licensure from state of employment is required\u00a0CareerStaff is proud to be a six-time Great Place to Work\u2122 and Diversity for Social Impact\u2122 certified source of healthcare careers.
