Position Summary:

The Lead Box Office Supervisor oversees all aspects of box office operations, including ticket printing, VIP pass distribution, and addressing customer service issues. They manage staff, troubleshoot technical problems, and ensure ADA compliance, while also providing training and direct supervision during events. Additionally, they serve as the primary point of contact for technical support and perform closing duties to ensure smooth operation and security of the box office.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate box office operations, including printing tickets and coordinating pass distribution with VIP team.
  • Assist in fulfilling VIP, speakeasy, and guest lists as required.
  • Send mobile guest list tickets for upcoming shows and address club/customer service issues.
  • Coordinate ADA needs with venue staff and ensure readiness before showtime.
  • Supervise staff, unlock box office, conduct inventory checks, and troubleshoot technical issues with internet, printers, and scanners.
  • Provide training to scanning staff on procedures, layout, and customer service protocols.
  • Directly manage VIP scanner staff, Ticket Resolution, and Runners, ensuring timely setup and troubleshooting during events.
  • Serve as lead troubleshooter for box office operations, liaising with Bowery Ticketing Manager and AXS Client Services for technical support.
  • Perform closing duties, assist with settlement reports, and ensure proper disposal of waste before locking up the box office.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Of related work experience
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills and experience in conflict resolution
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Great leadership skills
  • Knowledge and interest in live entertainment preferred

Pay Scale: $24.00
