Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must have 3 -5 billing experience in a skilled nursing home setting
  • Outpatient therapy billing experience desireable
  • Must have Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance knowledge
  • Must have proven experience in timely collections
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.
  • Must be able to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Education Requirements:
  • Must have an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in business or finance or related experience in the Skilled Nursing field.
  • Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred
Job Duties
  • Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
  • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical examination.
  • Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility.
  • May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.

Sign on bonus is paid out in installments over the course of the first year of employment in the position.
