Description • Technical Center Resident Industrial Engineer supporting North American manufacturing sites. • Estimate labor, assembly fixtures cost, material movement cost and material presentation costs. • Lead manufacturing system design workshops and document savings or improvements from the workshop. • Design, quote and build assembly equipment, material movement and material presentation for production. • Install assembly fixtures, material movement carts and material presentation at or below the award of business pricing. • Develop lean layouts and material flow for efficient operations. Develop operator instructions for assigned programs. • Train production employees for start-up and ramp-up. • Support the asssigned PDT to drive lean processes. • Conduct ergonomic assessments of the manufacturing process including material movement. • Support North American plants in their cost savings projects. • Business Travel Mandatory to support North American sites.
