About the Role:

The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including administering pay, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies/practices.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of HR Generalist experience or High School diploma with 5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm
  • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Essential Functions:
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and leaders, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law.
  • Assists with exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Process 401(k) deposits to ensure timely and accurate contributions to employee retirement accounts.
  • Process or respond to unemployment claims, providing necessary documentation and information to the relevant authorities.
  • Complete wage audit requests from state agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state requirements. Complete benefit audits from state Medicaid offices, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage and process worker's compensation claims, including documentation and communication with insurance providers.
  • Download, filter, and review OIG screening reports to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
