Objective:
  • Handle a wide range of functions, including but not limited to, Benefit Enrollment, FMLA, ADA, and LOA Administration, COBRA, and Worker's Compensation.
Essential Functions:
  • Insurance Enrollment: Facilitating monthly and open enrollments
  • Eligibility Tracking: Identify newly eligible and those in danger of losing eligibility.
  • Invoice Reconciliations/Payment Submission: HPN, Colonial Life and AFLAC
  • COBRA Administration: Provide notice to separated individuals and complete enrollment/termination of coverage
  • Maintaining ACA Compliance through Paylocity
  • Maintaining Enterprise Benefits Module in Paylocity
  • FMLA: eligibility and usage tracking
  • LOA: coordinating requests, tracking return dates and ensuring premiums are paid
  • NMSN: coordinating enrollment or providing notice of exclusion
  • Manage HRWS Nondiscriminatory Testing
  • Handle ARPA Cobra offer
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • A strong sense of urgency, discretion, and confidentiality are indispensable in this position.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization of multiple communication initiatives to meet established deadlines and communication schedules for time sensitive information
  • Must be able to professionally handle sensitive information and maintain complete confidentiality
  • Must have the ability to work autonomously and multi-task
  • Prior work-related experience with: Excel, Word, and Google Drive required
  • Experienced with Paylocity, preferred but not required
  • Must have the ability to incorporate creative approaches to various projects by taking initiative and working independently
  • Ability to maintain a flexible working attitude, while performing job duties in stressful situations or handling complex communication
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner
  • Polite professional demeanor and appearance

Education and Experience:
  • One to two years of experience in Human Resources
  • High School diploma/GED required
