PR and Social Media Program Manager

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced communications professional with a blend of strategy and execution leading external communications and branding programs. You will work across communications, social media, community relations, and employer brand to create engaging information that drives awareness of Cirrus Logic. As part of this effort, the individual will work closely with the marketing team to coordinate strategies, campaigns, and themes.

Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and execute public relations strategy and plan
    • Manage relationship with PR agency including giving direction and feedback
    • Engage with product marketing to ensure that PR campaigns align with strategic goals and business objectives
    • Establish metrics and ways to measure progress and effectiveness
    • Develop social media strategy and execute external branding opportunities, and drive external messaging recommendations
    • Advise on web strategy related to corporate brand
    • Partner on tradeshow publicity planning and execution
    • Write press releases, social content, messaging documents, etc.
    • Create content for usage across a variety of platforms
    • Advise on external messaging in crisis situations
    • Develop media buying strategies and campaigns with marketing teams to most effectively reach the desired audience
Skills/Experience
    • Minimum 5 years experience in public relations at an engineering or technology company or organization
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills
    • Deep knowledge of traditional, digital, and social media channels
    • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite preferred
    • Outstanding copywriting, social media, or video production skills

Requirements
    • 6-8 years of experience in marketing or communications
    • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing
    • 2+ years managing the relationship with a PR Agency
