As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for selling and servicing a full menu of ticket packages including full-season, partial, corporate, and group packages for both Louisville City FC & Racing Louisville FC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for generating ticket sales revenue for both clubs through multiple sales methods including cold calling, in-person appointments, and networking.
  • Seeks creative and innovative ways to sell ticket inventory including season, group, individual, and premium ticket packages.
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
  • Meet a daily minimum of touch point quotas as assigned by the Senior Director of Ticket Sales.
  • Record all activity and sales pipeline details in the Salesforce CRM system.
  • Proactively sell & service prospective season ticket packages and group outings.
  • Seeks creative and innovative ways to sell ticket inventory season, group, and individual tickets.
  • Manages inquiries related to ticket sales for both teams and third-party events.
  • Identifies and prospects new sales opportunities, including cross-selling different ticket products.
  • Follows through on leads and referrals; maintains details of individual, group, and other packages available.
  • Meets and exceeds individual revenue sales goals.
  • Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to networking events, in-match visits, and outside meetings.
  • Work Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC home games to assist with gameday duties related to ticketing, group experiences, and sponsorship activation, as assigned.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
SCHEDULE:

This position will require flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization or equivalent experience working in ticket sales, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years' work experience working in sales, customer service, or related field.
  • Experience working with ticketing software and CRM systems is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable making cold calls to customers.
  • Ability to fulfill the schedule requirements of the position, including working nights & weekends during home matches and special events.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, ideally with experience using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment comprehensive background check.
  • Must be legally authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the US.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and climb up & downstairs, as well as sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with tasks.

Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e., heat, rain, cold, snow, wind).

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

WHO WE ARE:

Soccer Holdings, LLC., is the parent company of professional soccer clubs Louisville City FC (USL Championship) and Racing Louisville FC (NWSL). Both teams call Lynn Family Stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood home and operate out of the nearby Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center. Louisville City launched in 2015 and quickly established a winning tradition, claiming USL titles in 2017 and 2018. Racing Louisville FC joined the NWSL as an expansion member in 2021, bringing top-tier professional sports back to Kentucky for the first time in nearly 50 years.
