Now hiring - Tax Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Tax Manager to join our team. Your responsibilities will include year-round tax planning, performing technical reviews of tax returns of varying types and complexities, and managing client relationships. Your role will also involve assessing client needs and developing strategies/solutions to provide clients with the highest level of service. In addition, you will be required to prepare complex business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns. As part of your role, you will be expected to provide mentorship to other tax staff and assist in their growth, development, and training. Business development will also be a key part of your role.
MUST HAVE:
5+ years of Public Accounting experience
Active CPA or recently expired (Will assist with reactivation process)
Solid experience with corporate Tax prep/planning and tax returns of multi-state, high net-worth clientele
Tech Savvy – Experience with Tax/Audit software (CHH ProSystem Preferred)
Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft software applications
Must be in geographic region for occasional in-office meetings if needed
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Applicable or equitable amount of total experience
REQUIRED SOFT SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Personable and Professional – customer service demeanor
Great Communicator – Internally and externally – both written and oral
Highly organized with the ability to manage projects
Ability to work both as a team and independently
Active Oregon CPA certification or recently expired (Will assist with reactivation process)
CHH ProSystem software experience
Fixed Asset Software
Experience working within a mid-sized or large sized firm
Experience working with construction or non-profit client base
Degree in related field
Job Type: Direct Placement
Work Site: This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Lake Oswego, Oregon and some days remote.
