**POSITION SUMMARY:**

The Cook / Baker position works as a staff member of the Food Service Team. This position reports to the Food Services Supervisor .

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

- Ensures that healthy and tasty food is prepared in accordance with all Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and national School Lunch and Breakfast Program requirements.

- Performs duties in the prepping and cooking of food.

- Maintains the entire dining and preparation facility in a constant state of sanitary acceptance. Ensures that all areas are maintained in a sanitary condition that meets or exceeds the requirements set forth by Federal, State, Local and Tribal regulations.

- Provides encouragement, guidance and resources to staff and students when needed.

- Acts as a positive role model and mentor for both staff and students.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

- .Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.

- Ability to work the designated schedule with the possibility of a varied schedule and overtime.

- Ability to function independently and as a member of a team in a multi-task environment.

Schedule:

Monday 11:30am-7:30pm

Tue & Wed off

Thursday and Friday 11:30am-7:30pm

Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-7:30pm
