About the Role:

Responsibilities:
Sous Chef
  • Lead and execute dinner service, on the inner expo.
  • In service, coordinate tickets, finish plates, and assist cooking line where help is needed
  • Create and execute prep lists daily
  • Assign and delegate specific tasks to hourly employees
  • Check finished/prepped products for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain pars and inventory of prepped product
  • Assist Executive Chef Doug with any other administrative, ordering, and cleaning duties.
  • This Fall, lead and execute brunch and lunch services in the kitchen

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of kitchen management experience preferred.
  • Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and teach multiple people
  • Must have a solid understanding of culinary terms, methods, preparations and the ability to execute scratch recipes
  • Organization and experience with product ordering and distributors is a plus
