About The Role

About the Role

To support the AAH business and assist the HSE function in the development, delivery and post implementation reviews of HS&E projects, initiatives, tools and systems.

To support HSE system auditing programmes, in order to identify risk, continuous improvement and aid the formation and implementation of improvement plans.

Accountabilities:

Work with the Senior HSE Manager and other internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver HSE project plans.

Conduct post implementation reviews to confirm the effectiveness of the implementation and identify after care support.

Monitor sites adherence to health, safety and environment management systems, policies and arrangements through agreed auditing programmes.

Drive business standardisation

and collective learning, enabling the sharing of best practice and continuous improvement across the AAH network.

Support the use of proactive tools to enable early risk intervention and risk

About You Essential

Experience in project delivery and in a HSE role in warehousing and logistics and or chemical storage environment.

Practical experience of implementing and monitoring standardised health, safety or environmental management systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001)

Experience in auditing HSE systems.

Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment, whilst contributing to the function of the HSE team.

Professional health, safety and environmental qualifications (NEBOSH Certificate/IEMA Certificate).

Member of a relevant professional body (IOSH/IEMA).

Desirable

New site start up experience in a warehousing and transport environment

Experience in a Good Distribution Practice environment.
