Our client located in the Providence, RI area has an immediate opening for a SFCC Front End Developer to join their team in a remote capacity. The SFCC Front End Developer will assist in developing solutions that will increase customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value.

Responsibilities
  • Write clean, maintainable, and extensible code in our responsive, mobile-first environment.
  • Advocate for writing semantic, accessible HTML.
  • Excel in building and compiling a rock-solid CSS framework workflow.
  • Enhance Site Performance - Measure and code for performance optimization, security, and SEO.
  • Identify and exploit common patterns to develop reusable UI components.
  • Manage Legacy and Assist with the continued effort to improve our legacy systems, reducing technical debt.
  • Contribute to our agile development process by participating in code reviews, stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives (Jira and Confluence).
Required
  • Bachelors Degree in IT preferred
  • 2+ Years of experience in SFCC ecommerce coding, preferably retail
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform in a B2C ecommerce environment
  • Experience with distributed version control (GIT/Bitbucket/etc.), branching/merge strategies
  • Knowledge of Bootstrap frameworks
  • Knowledge of jQuery (or another JavaScript framework)
  • Knowledge of Webpack, Yarn or Gulp or another application bundling framework
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing and UX best practices, particularly with mobile-first, responsive website design
  • Experience building consumer-facing products at large scale
  • Ability to assess prioritization and risk management
