Position Summary:
Adhere to the companys Supply Chain Strategy and Policies while improving productivity, efficiencies, reducing costs, and governing company data through analysis and managed metrics. This position is a key participant in overall SCM operations, execution, and KPI & system development. Collaborate with cross functional groups to ensure the business Supply Chain functions properly from end-to-end.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Input project spend requests as Purchase Requisitions while ensuring correct system parameters are established and proper SCM policy requirements are met. Execute requests through process to Purchase Order creation.
Track performance against open Purchase Orders ensuring alignment to project timelines and manage orders to completion.
Assist Project Controls and Accounting teams in identifying and resolving invoice discrepancies related to open purchase orders.
Organize and retain contracts and other SCM related documents on company directed platforms.
Maintain the vendor onboarding process for new suppliers as directed by each business.
Implement, monitor, and update KPIs to improve SCM effectiveness to the business and vendor partners.
Collect, analyze, and interpret SCM data to resolve gaps and improve efficiencies.
Identify opportunities and drive enhancements to ERP system to increase productivity within the SCM team while maintaining the availability and functionality of system in place.
Other SCM projects and duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
Communications skills that exhibit a high level of listening and comprehension. Expresses ideas and thoughts in professional written and verbal forms and keeps others adequately informed.
Planning and organization skills needed to use time efficiently, muti-task and work in an organized manner. Ability to integrate changes smoothly, prioritize and plans work activities and set goals and objectives.
Teamwork & positive attitude that balances team and individual responsibilities. Contributes to building a positive team spirit, objectivity and openness to others' views and gives and welcomes feedback. Puts success of team above own interests.
Cognitive skills needed to complete tasks, including abilities such as: learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision making, problem-solving, reasoning and comprehending.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree preferred with emphasis in supply chain management, business management or related fields.
3-5 years experience in purchasing, supply chain, construction, or engineering environments.
