Help Desk Support SpecialistThe candidateshall meet the applicable informa ti on assurance cer ti fica ti on requirements at ti me of hire, including:(1) DoD-approved informa ti on assurance workforce cer ti fica tions appropriate for each category and level as listed in the current version of DoD 8570.01-M; and(2) Appropriate opera ti ng system cer ti fication for informa ti on assurance technical posi tions as required by DoD 8570.01-M.(3) Upon request by the government, the candidateshall provide documenta ti on suppor ti ng the information assurance certification status of personnel performing information assurance functions.(4) Contractor personnel who do not have proper and current cer ti fica ti ons shall be denied accessto DoD informa ti on systems for the purpose of performing informa ti on assurance functions.The minimum general requirements for a Level I Technician shall include:Active Secret Security ClearanceMinimum of 2 years experience with hands on training in current applica ti ons; hardware experience highly desired. Requirement for every current device not required as long as the candidate has a minimum of six (6) months experience with similar devices and demonstrates the ability to quickly learn the new devices.Understands e-mail, IP, voice applica ti ons, and MS Teams.Works with Inventory Manager to maintain an accurate database of hardware and accessories with the communica ti ons skills to keep the Inventory Manager and CIO aware of needs and requirements of the program.Knowledge of printer func ti ons, connec ti vity, and skill set of basic troubleshoo ti ng of printing and scanning devices including, but not limited to, networked Mul ti function Devices (MFD).Working knowledge of software packages including the Microsoft Office bundle, present and future releases.Understanding of network essen ti als, troubleshoo ti ng network and cable connec ti vity.Basic troubleshoo ti ng knowledge of mobile compu ti ng devices such as tablet PCs, notebook PCs.Firm working knowledge of Windows 7 and later OSs (to include all current versions of Windows) and will stay abreast of Window advancements and be familiar with future versions of Windows, which will be at no addi ti onal cost to the government.Knowledge of installa ti on and troubleshoo ti ng IP cameras and MS Teams.Good wri tt en and oral communication skills.Willingness to work in a team environment.Experience with the use of Dame Ware, Symantec Ghost and other tools to accomplish the assigned responsibili ti es.Ini ti al skill sets shall be current at the ti me personnel are brought to work on this effort.Experience with documenta ti on within an electronic trouble ti cket system or other designated method(s).Cer ti fica ti ons and educa ti on: CompTIA A+ Cer ti fica ti on, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Sec+ CE preferred.Due to the evolving nature of the information technology industry, the government requires the skill level of the staff to remain current with technology. The employee shall remain trained in current, next genera ti on, and any future Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) technologies used by NHCPR, at no addi ti onal cost to the government.#J-18808-Ljbffr
