Forklift Operator Overview:

Join our team as a Forklift Operator and be at the forefront of our operations, driving gasoline or electric powered forklifts with precision and expertise Your role is crucial in pushing, pulling, lifting, and moving products, equipment, or materials, ensuring seamless workflow and efficiency. Safety is paramount in this position, underscoring the vital importance of your responsibilities in protecting the well-being of our team and the broader community. Step into this safety-sensitive role where your skills and attention to detail make a significant impact every day.

Forklift Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operates forklifts to move materials, and load/unload trucks.
  • Drives a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack or move equipment deemed necessary by the Foreman.
  • Must be able to pass certification required to operate equipment.
  • Adheres to company safety and OSHA regulations.
  • Assists in receiving incoming steel, bolts, treads, and other miscellaneous material.
  • Supplies workers with materials as needed.
  • Maintains forklifts as needed.
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
  • Perform non-essential duties as needed.
Forklift Operator Qualifications:
  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to maintain equipment.
Forklift Operator Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less, bend, stoop, lift, and carry frequently.
  • Excessive amount of pushing pulling from the waist.
  • Exposed to temperature fluctuations and loud noises.

This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Compliance with this requirement is a fundamental condition for employment.
