General Responsibilities:

  • Develop a full working knowledge of Commercial Lines Marketing procedures
  • Pursue a program of personal and professional development
  • Develop a good working knowledge of company underwriting philosophies and appetites
  • Be proficient in available carrier rating systems where provided for Agency use
  • Review and update Acord Applications to match the terms of the Binder Confirmation.
  • Assist Producers in the compilation and preparation of marketing and underwriting data including but not limited to: Motor Vehicles Reports, Experience Modifications and Loss runs.
  • Create task in IR for proper follow up of outstanding quotation requests, binders confirmations and any pending information.
  • Prepare and submit Top Gun monthly report for all bound New Business
  • Create proposals and prepare the product presentation
  • Send Upload Worksheet to Accounting for payments made electronically to carriers
Required Qualifications:
  • High school degree
  • Working knowledge of MS office products
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry
  • Experience with Agency Management System (AMS360)
