Overview:
The incumbent is responsible for working with the Pricing department to create a cost strategy that will be used to set selling prices by customer type and secure expected margins once pricing is finalized. The incumbent will work with store personnel to look for opportunities to increase accuracy of cost forecasts and costs in the store system.
Responsibilities:Directly work with stores to manage material need for committed business
Create costs structures for job quotes
Directly work with regional managers and store managers to accuracy of cost forecasts.
Forecasting cost projections
Design systems to know how and when to cover material needs based on predicting
sales fluctuations to maintain expected margins in volatile commodity markets
Maintenance costs in the store system
Requisition maintenance
Qualifications:Probability and statistics
Create spreadsheets
Word Processing
Comfortable talking to large groups of people
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
