The selected candidate will collaborate with the Pricing division to develop a comprehensive cost strategy aimed at establishing selling prices tailored to various customer segments while ensuring the desired profit margins are achieved once pricing is confirmed.
This role involves engaging with store teams to identify opportunities for enhancing the precision of cost predictions and the overall cost data within the store management system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate directly with store teams to oversee material requirements for secured business commitments.
• Develop cost structures for project quotations.
• Work closely with regional and store managers to ensure the accuracy of cost forecasts.
• Conduct forecasting of cost estimates.
• Design systems to determine the timing and method for addressing material needs based on anticipated sales variations, ensuring the maintenance of expected profit margins in fluctuating commodity markets.
• Manage maintenance costs within the store management system.
• Oversee requisition processes.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in probability and statistics.
• Experience in creating and managing spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with word processing applications.
• Comfortable presenting to large audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to identify issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions; capable of interpreting a wide range of technical instructions in both mathematical and diagrammatic forms while managing various abstract and concrete variables.
