Guest Services Assistant

Position Type: Regular Full Time
Pay Range: $13.60 - $16.62/hour
About this opportunity:
Cleans, sets up, and services conference space and guest activity areas; serves as host for guest groups; maintains excellent interpersonal skills and professional and cheerful customer service communications.

- High school diploma or G. E.D., and Two years experience in camping ministry and/or hospitality related industry including experience leading the work of others, Or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Valid State Drivers License
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to lead potential users in tours of the camp facilities. Ability to drive a golf cart. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Duties require frequent periods of physical mobility including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and lifting. Physical duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting. Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with lifting, moving, and carrying heavy objects (more than 50 lbs.) frequently. Work may be performed in an office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like but not limited to the office environment. Work may require driving a vehicle and working outdoors with exposure to physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
