We want you to applyJob Summary and QualificationsOurImagingteams are a committed, caring group of professionals. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. You will perform these procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity.Your tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scansPrepare and administer radioactive isotopes and record dosages for patients in accordance with physicians' orders Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic filmPosition patients and adjust immobilization devicesCompassionately explain procedures to patients and address concernsMonitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation (MEDITECH)Assist with transporting patientsQualifications: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine programClear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine TechnologistCurrent ARRT (N) and/or CNMT certificationValid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbsHCA Florida Largo Hospital is the premier healthcare provider in Pinellas County and beyond.
