We provide easy access to high quality dermatologic care in an environment that is consistently friendly, convenient, courteous, and caring.SummaryCollaborate with providers to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.Job ResponsibilitiesManaging Medical Question LineMonitor voicemail box and return patient callsRespond to patient questions while adhering to office protocol and the direction of the providerMaintain/update patient chartsSchedule appointments when necessaryManaging Path Log in EMANotify patients of abnormal results that need follow up, discuss diagnoses, and schedule appointmentsTranscribe discussions between providers and patients about results and enter the communication in the patient's chartEnsure that all patients are contacted and scheduledFollow up with patients who have not returned our initial call, are not currently scheduled or have canceled their follow up appointmentSet recalls for future appointmentsIdentify patients that need a certified letterManaging Portal MessagesReview messages from patients to the providers/staffRoute messages to appropriate staff to address messagesUpdate the patient's chart with photos that are sent through the portalDocument all communication in patient charts and follow up as necessaryManaging RX Refill LineMonitor voicemail boxConfirm prescriptions with pharmaciesRespond to patient voicemails while adhering to office protocol and the direction of the providerRespond to electronic prescription requests received via EMA or fax machine and document the requests in the patient's chartSchedule appointments when necessaryProcess Prior AuthorizationsOperate as a delegate in the iPLEDGE SystemMaintaining MIPS LogAll other duties as directed and assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)Clinical experience preferredEffective communication, both orally and in writingAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentMaintain strictest confidentialityPhysical DemandsEmployees may be regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard while performing the duties of this job.Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status
