With our continued expansion and growth, we have an opportunity for a full-time Customer Relationship Representative at our Headquarters located in Irvine, CA.
The Customer Relations Representative will be an account manager on our National Accounts Team. This includes providing a positive customer experience, long-term solutions, creating a customer partnership, and representing Vortex Industries LLC with the highest levels of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with the company's top customers.
- Proactively delivers superior customer service in response to customer calls, correspondence, and e-mails.
- Ensures customer's needs are understood and relays expectations to our Service Centers
- Partners with local service centers as a liaison for national accounts.
- Manages national account customers who have orders, need estimates, or require information about products/services.
- As part of the team, you will answer incoming calls to help customers and service centers.
- Ensures confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
- Ensure constant communication with team members and customers.
- Ensures accurate data entry into the customer accounts and databases.
- Ensure timely completion of work through critical thinking skills, prioritization, and multitasking.
- Prepares and presents quotes to national account customers including follow up.

- Strong people and time management skills are required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required; must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and across all organizational levels.
- Detail oriented, positive friendly customer service are key attributes.
- Computer knowledge and skills, i.e., MS Office Suite - Word, Power Point and Excel is required.
- Ability to maneuver through customer websites and portals.
- Experience with MRP systems is beneficial.
- Collaborative with a continuous improvement outlook.
- Ability to build and maintain strong effective business relationships in a team-based environment.
- This is a fast-paced environment and must have the ability to multi-task efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment.
- Flexible with high energy, able to handle multiple tasks smoothly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with attention to accuracy.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree required (GED).
- One (1) - Three (3) years of customer service experience, or administrative background preferred.
- B2C and experience with customer facing roles in retail, restaurant, hospitality is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
- Shift will be Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm.
- Must have the ability to walk short distances.
- Noise level is moderate in an office environment.
This position is located in Irvine and not a remote position.
