About the Company & Overview of the Accounting & Implementation Consultant Role:

  • CFS is partnering with a great repeat client to hire Accounting & Implementation Consultant to assist with an ongoing software conversion to Unanet and accounting backlog
  • This position is anticipated to be a 1-3 month contract to support a major project in the accounting department
  • Schedule: Typically 9-5 M-F. Position is 100% remote for candidates in the United States. Company is based in Hunt Valley, MD.
  • Reports to the Controller
  • Ideal start: August 28-September 3, 2024
Job Duties for the Accounting & Implementation Consultant Include:
  • Work alongside accounting leadership to clean up accounting backlog
    • Perform reconciliations, create journal entries, post revenue
  • Assist with implementation of Unanet software

Qualifications for the Accounting & Implementation Consultant:

  • 5+ years' relevant experience. Must have an accounting background and be very system savvy
    • Strong understanding of billing, revenue, and mark ups
  • Previous implementation experience highly preferred
  • Experience using Unanet or similar software system a plus
  • Great attention to detail, problem solving skills, and highly analytical
  • Must be comfortable getting in the weeds and being hands on
