The basic function of the Senior Project Manager is to oversee the administration, direction, and coordination of the functions of the field supervisory personnel and subcontractors of the operations divisio n.The Sr. Project Manger is to make every effort to maximize profit and control cost to ensure stability and future growth within the division.The Sr. Project Manager is the primary interface between Ajax and the Architect, Engineer and Owner.The Sr. Project Manager reports to and is directly accountable to the ir Operations and Regional Managers.REQUIREMENTSEducationMust have a bachelors degree in Constructio n Management , Civil Engineering or related field and 6 years construction management experience.Licensing / Re g istration / CertificationPreferred: General Contractors LicenseExperienceRequired: 6 or more years of construction manag ement experience.Preferred: 10 or more years of construction management experience.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesPosition requires an understanding of industry practices and trends and their impact on the corporation. Individual must have advance d interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSHire, terminate, and/or change the duties of assi g ned personnel, following established company policies, procedures, and practices.Oversee training and evaluate p ersonnel within your area .Audit jobsite for efficiency and accuracy.Act as company representative in negotiations with the owners.Approve a l l overtime hours above a 10% limit over budget to meet the needs of the department.Approve all contract agreements and cost of all outside repairs of equipment assigned to the department.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReview reports used by Ajax to keep top management accurately informed as to the effectiveness of the management of time, cost, quality and safety.Oversee preparation of the project budget.Oversee preparation of the project schedule.Audit any activities and details associated with and ne e ded for an efficient, profitable project from signing of the contract to conclusion of warranty period.Being totally committed to active participation in the com panys Quality Improvement Plan.Supervision of those reporting to him.Maintain good relatio n s with Project Managers and Owners.Ajax Building Co mpany, LLC is a n equal oppo rtunity employer.All empl oy ees must pass a background and drug test prior to hire.#J-18808-Ljbffr
