Responsibilities

  • This Supply Chain Business Analyst position will entail the use of strong analytical skills to assist our internal customers in continuous improvement and innovation projects to solve system and technology issues, providing solutions for the ever-increasing demand to build and manage data automations, reporting and data visualizations across core systems.
  • This individual will act as a liaison between the IT department and various business teams within the organization, working to elicit and define solution requirements and turn them into technical specifications.
  • The position requires building and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders; understanding of business processes; ability to work with cross-functional teams; and strong analytical abilities and communication skills.
  • Documenting business processes by assessing the current business model and its integration with technology. Analyzing and evaluating the current business processes to identify areas of improvement. Creating requirements documentation, visual models, business process models, functional requirements specifications, data models, use cases, process flows, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree - Information Technology / Supply Chain Management / Business Administration.
  • 2+ years working within Research & Development, Manufacturing or Distribution system environments.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to collaborate successfully with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
  • Possess and maintain an eagerness to learn new systems and technologies in an ever-changing software landscape.
  • Self-sufficient, organized, with ability to work on a variety of diverse initiatives.
  • Advanced skills in SQL and extensive experience analyzing large data sets across systems.
  • Experience with modeling, analytical and problem-solving techniques, and ability to apply business knowledge to those techniques to support business decisions.
  • Previous experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
