We are looking to hire a hands-on seasoned leader to drive the strategy for delivering a delightful personalized shopping experience to our users across all engagement channels.

**Responsibilities**

* Build and own end-to-end user personalization strategy to deliver on business goals. Manage cross-functional teams to deliver on the strategy.

* Drive user segmentation based on demographic and psychographic signals, their core characteristics, shopping preference and shopping trends. Partner with the merch team to map shopping preferences to merch assortments.

* Always be in tune with market trends and pop culture to evolve user personalization strategy as needed. Keep user segments, their characteristics definitions and preferences market relevant.

* Partner with the merch, product, data and communications team to drive initiatives to deliver a personalized shopping experience across merch categories and across user engagement channels - app, web and communication channels

* Lead executive meetings to share insights on user personas, shopping preferences, communication preferences, market trends and new opportunities.

* Drive initiatives for relevant people matching to ensure great user experience through meaningful connections.

* Partner with product and community team to help create and grow micro communities around shopping interests

* Follow users through their journey and movement across various segments to ensure a holistic engaging user experience serving multi-dimensional shopping needs as users cohorts mature and new users join the platform

**6-Month Accomplishments**

* Understanding of all short term and long term priorities and goal commitments for Shoppers area

* Great working relationships with all cross functional teams

* Deliver on at least 2 high priority initiatives on user experience and personalization roadmap

**12+ Month Accomplishments**

* Fully own the priorities and roadmap for User Experience and Personalization

* Independently propose, champion and drive cross functional initiatives to deliver on the roadmap

**Requirements**

* 10+ years of relevant experience in areas of merchandising strategy, personalization strategy and marketing and user experience research. 5+ years in management and/or leadership capacity. Experience in product management is a big plus.

* Customer experience obsessed with a proven track record of developing, owning and delivering on personalized user experience roadmap in retail, merchandising or other consumer facing business. Experience in multi-category fashion is a huge-plus.

* Experience leading teams in a cross-functional matrix structured organization

* Excellent project leadership, project management and verbal/written communication skills

* Ability to balance long term strategic priorities with short term tactical needs

* Someone who is passionate, approachable, thoughtful, respectful to our teams

* Self-starter who is excited about the opportunity to define and build things in a fast pace environment while navigating ambiguity

* MBA or equivalent degree and/or experience working in a top tier consulting company will be a
