Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Financial Management Analyst to join our team in a client-facing role. As a key member of our SAF/FM CIO team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial processes, leveraging your expertise in Oracle, custom databases, Qlik and Power BI.

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their financial management needs and provide tailored solutions to address their requirements
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of FM, Oracle, Qlik and Power BI to analyze financial data, identify trends, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities from various feeder systems ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, providing guidance and support to end-users
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses, reconciliations, and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and identify potential areas for improvement
  • Offer financial advisory services to clients and provide insights and recommendations based on your expert analysis
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management and technology and provide innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support hybrid schedule 1-2 days per week on-site
Education and qualifications:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current security clearance required for consideration (Secret at a minimum)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Financial Management Analyst, within Air Force or DoD Headquarters
  • Experience working with Air Force legacy systems such as:
    • Automated Business Services System (ABSS)
    • Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS)
    • Automated Funds Management (AFM)
    • Civilian Pay Accounting Interface System (CPAIS)
    • Central Procurement Accounting System (CPAS)
    • Commanders' Resource Integration System (CRIS)
  • Proficiency in FM systems, Oracle, Qlik, and Power BI with a track record of leveraging these tools to drive meaningful insights and support decision-making
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on-site 1-2 days per week
Preferred experience:
  • Knowledge of SAF/FM systems is a significant plus
