NOTE: If selected for this position, you are required to perform ALL work onsite, based on the clients specified hybrid work schedule (currently onsite 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

Software Engineer

Sunnyvale, CA

QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum 5 years of software development

* Programming languages: Python (required), Golang (preferred)

* Database: SQL (required)

* Systems: Linux (required)

* Deployments: Any cloud experience is required (AWS, GCP, Etc)

5+ years of automation programming experience and support.

Strong experience developing programs

in Python (required).

Expertise in Python scripting language,

one compiled language (preferably Golang

or Java), and one DB query language.

Strong in Datastructures and Algorithms.

Strong experience with Unix/Linux

(e.g., filesystems, system calls) and administration or networking (e.g.,

routing, SDN).

Experience troubleshooting networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/S, Multicast and Load Balancing.

Solid experience with infrastructure

services such as LDAP, TNFTP, DNS,

DHCP, NTP and SMTP.

Solid experience with version

control and repositories such as Git.

Understanding of hybrid cloud and

network security.

Track record of practical problem solving, excellent communication and

documentation skills.

Comfortable in a fast-paced dynamic

agile environment

Excellent written and verbal communication

ability

Bachelors or graduate degrees in Computer Science or a related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the design and development

of builds, scripts, installation procedures,

and testing of both hardware and software.

System monitoring & analytics; monitor and support the systems and networks using proprietary and third-party tools.

Maintain and scale services by measuring

and monitoring availability, latency and

overall system health.

Develop technical solutions to help

mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Analysis of complex system behavior, performance and application issues.

Development of monitoring solutions

Capacity analysis and planning, traffic

routing, and security policies

Linux systems administration,

configuration, troubleshooting

and automation.
