THE JOB:

As a Park MGM Guest Services Representative your focus is to enhance the guest experience by delivering exceptional customer service by responding to and resolving any guest complaints in alignment with S.H.O.W. Service Basics.

You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $19.00 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and introduce them to the MGM Resorts family by delivering exceptional service, anticipating their needs, and addressing and resolving any complaints in accordance with S.H.O.W. Service Basics
  • Ensure a smooth and professional experience for guests by managing early and late arrivals, departures, walk-ins, and all related check-in and check-out tasks
  • Enhance the guest experience by offering upgraded accommodations when available, following authorized programs and processes, and promoting M life enrollment and benefits
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet guest expectations and accommodate special requests
  • Accurately post charges and credits, process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and follow property cash handling procedures to balance all transactions responsibly
  • Manage key control while ensuring guest security, privacy, and confidentiality, and provide a seamless, hassle-free experience from start to finish
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • At least one (1) year of Guest-Facing Customer Service experience in a similar resort setting
  • Six (6) months of previous cash handling and sales experience
  • Post-secondary education
  • Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
  • Able to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish, in both written and verbal forms
