Description

The Senior Manager for Benefits & Compensation will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing INNIO's benefits and compensation programs for its United States and Canadian based employees. Their role includes making sure these programs are competitive, compliant with applicable laws, and align with the company's strategic objectives.

This includes:

Program management: Manage and oversee the company's compensation and benefits programs, including salaries, bonuses, incentives, health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits in United States and Canada.

Compliance: Ensure all compensation and benefits plans follow local laws and regulations in United States and Canada.

Benefit vendor management: Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and consultants to ensure services are delivered as expected in United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Compensation plan administration: Partner with the HR community and business leaders on compensation related topics, including but not limited to annual merit cycle, bonus plan design support and administration, wage surveys, and job evaluations.

Budget management: Manage the compensation and benefits budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with the company's financial objectives.

Employee communication: Communicate effectively with employees about compensation, benefits, and incentive programs. This may involve working with HR teams in different countries to ensure clear and consistent communication.

Team management: Lead and manage a small team of compensation and benefits professionals.

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (like Certified Compensation Professional) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in compensation and benefits, with a focus on multiple country roles.
  • At least 5 years' experience dealing with both insured and self-funded benefit plans.
  • Knowledge of international labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compensation benchmarking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
