Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team in Forsyth County Schools. In this vital role, you will work with students across various grade levels, conducting assessments, providing therapy, and offering consultation services to enhance their speech and language development. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping students navigate communication challenges and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights on students' speech and language goals.
  • Stay informed on best practices and developments in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Georgia SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and families.
