Job Description

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based setting. As an SLP, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
  • Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology and special education.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Georgia licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with children is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
