Your Role

As the Data Processing Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the core data processing system and all related interfaces. Position reports to the Information Technology Officer in guiding the financial information systems activities, including the design, programming, procedures, and operation of computers and related peripheral equipment and interfaces for the core processing software. Assists coworkers in resolving and/or troubleshooting core processing issues in person, over the phone or via e-mail. Role would require project management in core processing related projects.

This is a single incumbent position.
  • Provides first point of core processing support to the entire workforce.
  • Resolve system issues including coordination between users and IT staff.
  • Maintain network security in core processing environment.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize outstanding issues.
  • Upgrade, manage, and maintain all applications of the core processing system and ancillary systems.
  • Monitor completion of nightly update and resolve exceptions and interruptions.
  • Manage client notice printing and document imaging tasks.
  • Follow established procedures on daily work, occasionally utilizing best judgment when applicable.
  • Good communication skills, good computer skills, accuracy, flexibility, ability to handle high stress situations, regular and predictable attendance, exercise discretion and good judgment, follow instructions.

Requirements

Your Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology and one to three years of experience
  • Experience in a number of PC-based and LAN environments.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Experience in administering and securing a core banking software platform.
  • Experience in administering an IT environment for a financial institution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules.
  • Ability to diagnose and correct hardware and software configuration problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
