Senior Accountant

This person will enjoy an outstanding culture, BU and corporate visibility, and a wide range of exposure including financial accounting and record keeping, financial and cost analysis, budgeting and risk analysis, invoicing, and cost optimization.
This highly collaborative position is fully based onsite in Beloit, WI and is open due to a promotion.
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
Develop and manage division budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures to optimize procurement costs.
Manage the procurement process for division-related expenses, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and evaluating suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Prepare accurate financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Manage the financial aspects of assets, including depreciation and disposal, to optimize asset utilization and minimize expenses.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls and assist with internal and external audits.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders to align financial goals and objectives and provide financial insights for decision-making.
Assist in the development and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used in the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of company processes.
Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights for strategic decision making and process improvement.
Lead division inventory counts to drive inventory accuracy and provide a structured approach to the annual inventory process.
Identify and manage financial risks such as market fluctuations, insurance, and lease agreements, to mitigate potential financial losses.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field required. CPA or CMA preferred.
3+ years of related experience and strong demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, cost accounting, and budgeting required. Experience in fleet procurement accounting or related roles a plus.
Proficiency in financial and asset management software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in financial reporting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with desire to learn and grow professionally.
