Advanced inventory and administrative work for the inventory operation of the Fixed Assets Management Office of the Office of Financial Management and Budget, in accordance with Florida Statute, Chapter 274-Tangible Personal Property Owned by Local Governments and Palm Beach County's Policies and Procedures. Trains, assigns and reviews the work of staff in the scheduling of asset inventories, asset tagging, the updating of current records, reconciliation of inventories, resolution of missing assets, fixed asset inventory procedures, and performance measurement reporting. Regularly performs and/or assists in the collection and organization of information and processing system transactions and documents; preparation of the Annual Agenda for the Retirement of Tangible Personal Property, Surplus Assets Disposal Program for Thrift Store auction/sales, training programs; and general office and field work-related assignments. Work is performed under the general supervision of an administrative superior and is reviewed on a periodic basis through results obtained, conferences and reports. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of two (2) years of experience in tangible fixed assets inventory work, including computerized record keeping and two (2) years of supervisory experience. Equivalency: Associate's Degree AND one (1) year of related experience including two (2) years of supervisory experience. PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE WITH: Advantage or similar centralized computer system; Crystal Reports; inventory practices and operating procedures (must specify on application); fixed asset database management system and specialized asset label printing; Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology; MS Office Suite. NOTE: It is not necessary to submit another application for this position if you applied 7/8/24 - 8/9/24. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment. THIS IS AN AT-WILL POSITION.
