Job Summary TheInternalAuditorisresponsibleforperforminginternalauditprojects,aspartoftheoverall risk-based internal audit plan, which includes developingthe scope of internalaudit projects, performinginternal auditproceduresandassistinginthepreparationofinternalauditreports. This position covers key functional areas, operating units and sites with a focus on financial, information technology and operational audits.

Essential Functions

LeadandexecuteSOXcompliancetesting,includingriskassessment,control documentation, testing and reporting.

Performsinternalauditprojectsaspartofthe overallrisk-based internalauditplan,which will include developing the scope of internal audit projects, performing internal audit procedures and assisting in the preparation of internal audit reports.

PerformsinternalcontrolassessmentsoffinancialprocessesinAvient'sglobal operations.

Collaboratewithstakeholderstodriveprocess improvementsandimplementbestpractices in internal controls.

Identifieskeycontrolswithintheseprocessesandensurestheireffectiveness.Leads remediation efforts for control deficiencies.

Performsfollow-upreviewsofoutstandinginternal auditissuesandparticipatesin

investigations.

Onoccasion,supportsInternalAuditleadershipinmanagingtheCompany'sethicsand compliance function.

Otherprojectsas

assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience *

Bachelor'sdegreeinAccountingor

Finance

Oneofmoreofthefollowingdesignationspreferred-CPA,CIA, CFE,

CMA

*

1 to 3 yearsofAccounting/Financeorrelatedexperience,with a strongfocuson

SOX

*

ProficientknowledgeofSOXregulationsandinternalcontrol concepts

*

AuditexperiencewithBigFourpublicaccountingfirmormanufacturing experience
